What’s next?
Remember my first post (or one of my first posts)? I was talking about the lack of focus, which I believe to be my primary problem – I hate using the word ‘problem’ since I used to work as a Customer Service Representative for a very large airline. They kept hammering into our heads: “Never, but never use the word ‘problem.” So I think I just got used to looking for synonims for the word…so, for my own sake, I will use the word “issues.”
So, my main issue is the lack of focus! And that’s why I started this blog! That’s a good way to keep the focus, correct?! I hope so.
After my reality check conversation with my boyfriend I’ve been thinking what I should do next. Should I start paying off my credit cards and begin my business with a clean slate? The prob…issue here is that this will take me a good two years (luckily). And I just don’t want to and can’t wait all that long to start my business.
Another approach would be to make the business a legal entity by setting it up as a LLC. Once this is taken care of, then I can think of slowly starting building up some inventory. Of course I also need to figure out what I am going to do about the website – which does not exist yet!!
I honestly don’t know how much money I will need just for the basics. Setting up the LLC will cost me around $550.00; I already have a website and I am trying to talk my developer into moving the existing control panel from one domain to another, but I don’t know if this is possible. This would probably save me some bucks. But I don’t even have a name for the business yet, let alone a visual identity!! Logo? Phew….of course not!
What other expenses will I incurr? I need to buy shipping material. I already have an account with UPS. Think! Think! Think! What else takes money?
Can’t think about it now…gotta stop and breath for a few minutes…brb
